Academic Calendar 2026-2027

Teaching Period:

• Academic Year: from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027
• First semester: from  October 1,  2026 to February 5, 2027
• Second semester: from February 8, 2026 to June 25, 2027

Holiday Period:

• Christmas holidays: from December 22, 2026 to January 7, 2027
• Easter holidays: March 22 to 29, 2027

Finalization of Official Grades Records:

• First semester: February 26, 2027
• Second semester: June 30, 2027
• End-of-Masters Projects: July 15, 2027

Finalization of Official Grades Records for Resits:

• Subjects: September 15, 2027
• End-of-Masters Projects: September 30, 2027

This academic calendar shall not apply to Master's Degree studies whose teaching period, call systems and pre-enrolment and enrolment periods are adjusted to their specific teaching calendar.

Pre-Enrolment and Enrolment Calendar 2026-27

All the Master's Degrees offered by the UIMP for the 2026-27 academic year will be governed by this pre-enrolment and enrolment calendar, with the exception of the official studies mentioned in section 3, which are governed by a specific calendar.

Pre-Enrolment Calendar

Regular Period: from March 9 to May 29, 2026 (until 23´59 p.m. Madrid time)

• Publication of the provisional admission list:up to June 15, 2026
• Claims Period:within two days of publication of the provisional admission list
• Publication of the final admission list:the following day after the end of the claims period.

A special period shall be set aside for the offer of any vacancies that become available after the registration of the regular period.

Special Period: from July14 to September 11,2026 (until 23´59 p.m. Madrid time)

• Publication of the provisional admission list: up to September 21, 2026
• Claims Period:within two days of publication of the provisional admission list
• Publication of the final admission list:the following day after the end of the claims period

Pre-Enrolment Period for Master's Degree in Economics and Finance and  Master's Degree in Constitutional Law

Pre-Enrolment Period: from April 20 to June 19, 2026 (until 23´59 p.m. Madrid time)

• Publication of the provisional admission list:up to July 6, 2026
• Claims Period:within two days of publication of the provisional admission list
• Publication of the final admission list:the following day after the end of the claims period

Pre-Enrolment Special Period for Master's Degree in Senior Public Management (P04P), Master's Degree in Clinical Bioethics  (P04I),  Master's Degree in Clinical Bioethics (P04J) , Master's Degree in International Cooperation, Public Policy Management, and Development Programs and Projects (P04S) and Master's Degree in Government and Public Administration (P04L).

A special enrolment period will be opened to fill slots that may have remained vacant after the regular enrolment period

Pre-Enrolment special Period: from July 14 to August  31, 2026 (until 23´59 p.m. Madrid time)

• Publication of the provisional admission list: up to September 10, 2026
• Claims Period: within two days of publication of the provisional admission list
• Publication of the final admission list: the following day after the end of the claims period.

Enrolment Calendar

Time limits for enrolment:

• Regular Period:
  • From June 24, 2026, within 10 calendar days of receipt of the notification of admission.
  • If the enrolment is not formalized within the indicated period, it will be understood the student resigns from the place obtained.
  • As soon as an admitted student does not enrol in the established term, his/her place is released, which will be offered to the following student by rigorous order of the waiting-list. The enrolment period will be 7 calendar days from the moment of the communication and the payment of the enrolment fees will be 10 calendar days.
• Special Period: 
  • Within 10 calendar days of receipt of the notification of admission.
  • In case of not formalizing the enrolment within the established term, it will be understood that the place obtained has been renounced.
• Second year students and students with outstanding credits:
  • Second year students and those who have credits pending, will register in the second half of September.
  • The Student Administration Office will communicate to the interested ones the concrete dates of enrolment.

Payment of Enrolment Fees:

• At the time of enrolment, all students will pay the current administrative fees, in addition to:
  • 100% of Academic Fees (single payment)
  • 50% of Academic Fees (payment in installments)
• if you choose to pay in installments, the second installment (50% of the registration fee) will be from January 4 to 22, 2027.

Submission of documentation: from the time of enrolment until the first two weeks of the course.

Stipulated Period for Application for Homologation of Credits: from the time of enrolment until the first two weeks of the course.

Cancellation of Enrolment:

• Stipulated Period including the right to the reimbursement of Enrolment Fees: during the first 10 calendar days of the course, students may request the cancellation of their enrolment with academic and economic effects. Thereafter, the cancellation of the enrolment will only have academic effects; that is, without the right to a refund of academic fees. Administrative fees shall in no case be refunded.

Cancellation of Studies: In the event of cancellation of Studies by the University, academic and administrative fees will be reimbursed to the student.

Modification of Enrolment (change of subjects and choice of electives for the second semester): until January 22, 2027

Period to request the gracious favor of an additional exam sitting: until October 23, 2026.
